Xiaojiahe Fm
Type Locality and Naming
East Guizhou. The Xiaojiahe Fm was named by the Party of Regional Geological Survey, Guizhou Bureau of Geology in 1974. The naming section is in Xiaojiahe, Yinjiang County, northwest of Fanjing Mountain, Guizhou Province. Lower-middle formation in the Fanjingshan Gr.
Synonym: (肖家河组)
Lithology and Thickness
The formation is of thin-bedded rhythmic layering, composed of grey- green, green- grey and dark grey blasto-sandstone, blasto-siltstone, slate with metamorphosed basic rock and ultrabasic rock. The basic rock is mainly of diabase and diabase olivine pyroxenite, occasionally accompanied with spilite and keratophyre. The total thickness varies from 868 m to 1393 m.

Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
It is in conformable contact with the underlying Yujiagou Fm
Upper contact
It is in conformable contact both with the overlying Huixiangping Fm
Regional extent
East Guizhou. It is developed in northwest of Fanjing Mountain, Guizhou Province.
